Thales: set to pilot future 'U-space' project
(CercleFinance.com) - Thales will pilot the EU's project on drone geofencing technologies to secure the future "U-space".
As project leader, the group will organise all tests and will make recommendations for European geofencing technologies.
The 280 flight tests will be carried out throughout the year in France, Germany and Latvia. They aim to test all the situations that an autonomous UAV is likely to face in urban and rural areas.
