Thales: two coastal surveillance radars for French Defence
(CercleFinance.com) - Thales is providing the French defence procurement agency (DGA) with two coastal surveillance radars.
The DGA has chosen the Coast Watcher 100 Thales to monitor the French coast near two DGA Missile testing sites. Two Coast Watcher 100 will be delivered by the end of 2020.
About thirty Coast Watcher 100 are currently in service in several countries.
"This X-band long-range radar detects from inflatables, jet skis and other small craft to commercial aircraft and warships. This enables fast decisions at every decisive moment and deployment of the most appropriate and effective responses," the group said.
