Thales: US approves merger with Gemalto
(CercleFinance.com) - Thales and Gemalto announced on Wednesday morning that they have obtained regulatory approval for their forthcoming merger from the competition authority in the United States.
Thales and Gemalto have now obtained 12 out of the 14 regulatory authorisations required. The companies expect their deal to be finalised in March.
Russia is one of the remaining two countries to give its approval.
