Sodexo: cancels almost 3.4 million shares
(CercleFinance.com) - Sodexo today announces that its board of directors has decided to cancel 3,375,562 treasury stock, or 2.
2% of the total number of shares comprising the group's share capital as of 23 January 2018, in accordance with the authorisation of the mixed general meeting of the same day.
Following this cancellation, Sodexo holds 1,817,652 of its own shares, i.e. 1.23% of the group's capital after the reduction, which now reaches 589,819,548 euros divided into 147,454,887 shares.
Thus, Bellon SA, a majority shareholder of Sodexo, now has 62,250,485 shares of the services group, representing 42.22% of its capital and 58.21% of its exercisable voting rights.
