Faurecia: creates a new joint venture in China.
(CercleFinance.com) - On Wednesday morning Faurecia announced the creation of a new joint venture with Liuzhou Wuling Industry Co.
Ltd.
Called "Liuzhou Automotive Interior Co.Ltd.," this structure, which has been consolidated by the French automotive component supplier, is part of the joint venture agreement that was signed last July with Wuling Industry for its "Seating" business. It will develop and manufacture parts for car interiors, such as dashboards, central consoles, door panels and acoustic products for SGMW's building affiliates and other clients.
Based in Liuzhou (Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region), the joint venture, which has three plants, aims to generate annual turnover of 1.3 billion RMB (c. 166 million euros) by 2022.
