Faurecia: contract in South Korea.

(CercleFinance.com) - On Monday morning Faurecia reported that it has signed a contract to modernise around 20,000 buses and commercial vehicles in Seoul (South Korea) via innovative Amminex technology.

As part of the air pollution management project in the South Korean capital, the automotive component supplier will provide its solution for reducing nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions through an agreement reached with both its partners, Iljin and CleanEarth, which are both under contract with the South Korean Ministry of the Environment.

As a Danish technological company acquired by Faurecia in 2016, Amminex is currently the only supplier offering new ASDS ("Ammonia Storage and Delivery System") technology. This new solution for the reduction of nitrous oxides has demonstrated its effectiveness in removing up to 99% of NOx emissions.
