Eurazeo: sells stake in Vignal Lighting
(CercleFinance.com) - Eurazeo PME, a Eurazeo subsidiary specialised in SMEs, has announced that it has received a firm offer from EMZ Partners for the purchase of its entire stake in Vignal Lighting Group.
Eurazeo has granted the venture capital company exclusive negotiations until January 2019.
Once finalised, the deal would enable Eurazeo PME to generate a total of 119 million euros since it took this majority stake in the world leader in lighting for industrial and commercial vehicles in February 2014. This includes the repayment of bonds of 27 million euros in 2016, and represents a multiple of 2.8x its initial investment.
The group's sales more than doubled over the period - from 47 million euros in 2013 to 106 million euros in 2017.
