Eurazeo: in talks to acquire Albingia
(CercleFinance.com) - Eurazeo has announced that it has entered into into exclusive discussions with Chevrillon and IDI for the acquisition of Albingia, alongside Financière de Blacailloux, which is controlled by Bruno Chamoin, Albingia's CEO, and management teams represented by le Financière de l'Elbe.
As the only independent player in the insurance business on the French market, Albingia received over 220 million euros in premiums in 2017 with a net combined ratio of under 85%, with a balance sheet of almost one billion euros.
Once the opinion of Albingia's staff representative bodies, the deal would be completed after obtaining approval from the ACPR and the French Competition Authority.
