Bic: finalises two disposals
(CercleFinance.com) - This morning Bic announces that it has finalised two disposals.
These include the sale of Bic Sport, a windsurfing subsidiary that was created in 1979, to Tahe Outdoors, the Estonian paddle sports specialist (kayak, kite surfing). The terms of the deal, which occur once certain conditions are satisfied, include an enterprise value of six million to nine million euros.
Bic has also completed the transfer of the ownership of its East African production sites of lighters, razors and disposable pens to the Kenyan group Haco Industries, as well as related distribution activities.
