Pernod Ricard: Q1 organic sales growth reaches 1.3%
(CercleFinance.com) - Pernod Ricard has posted Q1 2019/20 sales of 2,483 million euros, up 4% in nominal terms, with positive FX factors - mainly due to the dollar - and organic growth of +1.

Internally, the spirits giant boasted a good start in the United States (+6%), particularly thanks to innovation and benefiting from early sales, coupled with sound growth in Europe (+3%), thanks to strong sales in the East and a return to growth in the West.
"In an environment that remains particularly uncertain, we confirm our FY20 guidance of organic growth in Profit from Recurring Operations of between +5% and +7%," said group Chairman and CEO Alexandre Ricard.
