AXA: project for digital platform with Microsoft
(CercleFinance.com) - AXA has announced its collaboration with Microsoft to deploy a digital healthcare platform "enabling a virtual healthcare system that is open to all," drawing on the strengths of both groups in their respective fields.
The new platform will use Microsoft Cloud for Healthcare technologies, including the Azure API for Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR), which ensures user privacy.
"A pilot program, which included a self-assessment tool, teleconsultation and a medical concierge to facilitate appointment-setting, was successfully launched in late 2020 (in Germany and Italy)," the insurance company said.
