AXA: Q1 revenues up 2.7%

(CercleFinance.com) - On Thursday evening AXA Group announced a 2.
7% increase in its Q1 revenues to 35 billion euros, from 30.8 billion euros in Q1 2018.

The insurance group reported a 13.5% increase in revenues.

In detail, revenues from P&C insurance and specialties reported the highest growth: +79.8%, or +5.7% as reported. In all, P&C Commercial lines revenues reached 11.4 billion euros, compared to 6.3 billion euros a year ago.

"Our topline grew overall across the Group, and particularly strongly in each of our three preferred segments: Health, Protection and P&C Commercial lines," said Gérald Harlin, Axa's deputy CEO.
