Sanofi: plans vaccine production facility in Singapore
(CercleFinance.com) - Sanofi has announced 400 million euro investment, over five years, to create a dedicated vaccine manufacturing facility in Singapore, using state-of-the-art digital manufacturing technologies.
This facility will enable Sanofi to produce innovative vaccines on a very large scale for Asia and to rapidly meet future pandemic risks. It will also supplement its manufacturing capabilities in Europe and North America.
The project, which is also expected to create up to 200 jobs, is currently in the design phase, with its construction expected to begin in the third quarter of 2021.
