Bouygues: Free Mobile wins legal case
(CercleFinance.com) - Bouygues Telecom said on Tuesday that it had paid Free Mobile the sum of E308m, plus interest, in accordance with the judgment of the Paris Commercial Court on 9 February.
The ruling concerns the dispute over the bundling of smartphones and mobile packages. Bouygues Telecom, which believes that it has always operated in strict compliance with the applicable rules, has appealed against this judgment.
Although the validity of the provisional execution is strongly contested by Bouygues Telecom before the competent jurisdictions, Free Mobile has decided to proceed with the forced execution of the sentence.
