Bouygues: cooperation agreement with Lextan
(CercleFinance.com) - Bouygues Construction has announced that it has signed a three-year cooperation agreement with Lextan to conduct a Research & Development program on the remote control and assisted driving of construction machinery.
At the same time, Lextan has ensured seed fundraising led by Construction Venture, Bouygues Construction's start-up investment vehicle, alongside other partners, in order to increase its equity capital and strengthen its R&D team.
The construction and civil engineering group says that this cooperation has already led to the development of a crane steering project from the ground within Bouygues Construction's R&D department. A demonstrator will be deployed on a construction site in 2021.
