Bouygues: chosen for hospital complex in Benin

(CercleFinance.com) - Bouygues has said that the government of Benin has entrusted a consortium, in which Bouygues Bâtiment International is the principal, with the development and construction of the university hospital centre (CHU) in Abomey-Calavi, the country's second largest city.


Worth a total of 175 million euros, this project, covering over 40,000 m2 on two levels, will have a capacity of 434 beds and places. The hospital complex will be delivered in 2023 and will have six large units.

Its technical platform will include three day hospitals, A&E, a laboratory, medical imaging, radiotherapy and nine operating theatres. The project will also include teaching spaces, housing, a mortuary and logistics units.
