Accor: residential business set to triple by 2027
(CercleFinance.com) - Accor announced on Monday that it plans to more than triple its residential portfolio over the next five years, with this business currently benefiting from robust growth.
By 2027, the hotel group has set itself the target of operating over 150 residential complexes, whereas it currently hosts owners in around forty residential complexes worldwide.
Accor - which notes that over 100 projects across 20 separate brands are currently beig developed - points out that the branded residential segment is one of the fastest growing property widesectors.
According to Savills International, the branded residential sector has grown by 150% over the last decade, with more than 640 projects and 100,000 new units worldwide.
The market is expected to exceed 1,100 projects by 2027, double the current supply.
