AccorHotels: 33.1% of Orbis' capital tendered to offer
(CercleFinance.com) - AccorHotels has announced that at the end of the subscription period of its tender offer, launched on 26 November 2018, for the acquisition of the 21,800,593 Orbis actions that it did not hold, which ended on Friday, it has now received the preliminary results of the offer.
Based on these results, investors have tendered about 15.3 million shares at the price of 95.0 zlottis, totalling 1,450 million zlottis (337 million euros), representing approximately 33.1% of Orbis' capital.
The final number of Orbis shares to be tendered will be confirmed on the day the securities are acquired, i.e. on 23 January, with the settlement-delivery occurring on 28 January. Subject to final confirmation, AccorHotels would then hold 85.8% of Orbis' capital.
