AccorHotels: acquires its headquarters
(CercleFinance.com) - AccorHotels announces that it has completed the purchase of the office block, Tour Sequana - its headquarters since 2016 - located in Issy les Moulineaux near Paris, for an amount (established in 2015) of 363 million euros, while the building is currently estimated to be worth over 500 million euros.
The transaction is mainly financed by a "green" mortgage amounting 300 million euros, for an eight-year period, at a rate of 1.8%, which has been subject to an external audit by Sustainalytics.
The French hotel chain adds that the remainder of the acquisition of the Sequana Tower has been paid in cash and that the completion of the deal will generate rental savings of around 20 million per annum.
