Vallourec: reduces FY 2017 net loss
(CercleFinance.com) - After trading on Wednesday Vallourec announced a net loss, group share of 537 million euros at 31 December, compared with a loss of 758 million euros a year ago.
The manufacturer of seamless steel tubes and premium tubular solutions also reported positive EBITDA of 2 million euros, compared with -219 million euros at end-December 2016, thanks to a sound Q4 (+11 million euros, against -63 million euros at the same time the year before).
Revenues came in at 3.75 billion euros, up 26.5% compared to 2016, with 1.07 billion euros in Q4 alone, up 27.7%.
