TotalEnergies: to return land for EDF's EPR2 project
(CercleFinance.com) - TotalEnergies has announced that it will return the land it occupies in Gravelines (Nord) to enable the future construction of EDF's EPR2 reactors.
In February 2022, the French government announced its intention to relaunch a program to develop nuclear power in France as part of the energy transition, including the construction of new EPR2 reactors.
The land in question, which adjoins the EDF site at Gravelines, is currently used to store 600,000m3 of strategic diesel stocks.
