Total: LNG refuelling agreement with MSC Croisieres

(CercleFinance.com) - Total and MSC Crosières have announced signing an agreement for the annual supply of approximately 45,000 tonnes of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) for the next LNG-powered MSC Crosières cruise ships that will call at the port of Marseille.

The energy group will thus supply its cruise ships sailing on Mediterranean routes with marine LNG by ship-to-ship transfer using its second LNG bunkering vessel, which is currently being built.

By 2022, Total will operate two 18,600m3 marine LNG bunkering vessels in Rotterdam and Marseilles, and will share the use of a third bunkering vessel in Singapore, after obtaining a local licence last month.
