Total: 'encouraging' discovery in the North Sea
(CercleFinance.com) - Total, as an operator, with a 30% stake, announces an "encouraging" discovery on the Isabella 30/12d-11 prospect of the P1820 license, located in the British North Sea, 170 kilometres to the east of Aberdeen.
"The well was drilled in a water depth of about 80 meters and encountered 64 meters net pay of lean gas and condensate and high-quality light oil, in Upper Jurassic and Triassic sandstone reservoirs," Total said.
Data analysis and the estimation of discovered resources is now underway. These results will facilitate the evaluation program necessary to confirm the commercialisation of this prospective find.
