Total: develops its solar projects in Brazil
(CercleFinance.com) - Total Eren, leader in Independent Production of Electricity from renewable sources, has carried out several development projects in Brazil.
The Company has successfully finalised the financing of its Dracena photovoltaic (PV) solar power plant (90 MW) and has started the construction of 160 MW of wind projects.
In addition to the 50 MWp of solar projects already in operation in Bom Jesus da Lapa, in Bahia, Total Eren now owns 300 MW that are in operation or being built in Brazil.
In operation since August 2019, Dracena provides enough electricity to supply 83,000 Brazilian homes.
In addition to its PV solar activities, Total Eren has recently started the construction of two wind farms located in the State of Rio Grande do Norte.
