Total: sale of units in renewable portfolio
(CercleFinance.com) - Via its subsidiary Total Quadran, Total, and the Banque des Territoires announce an agreement by which the Banque des Territoires takes a 50% stake in a portfolio of Total Quadran's solar and wind assets in France that have a total capacity of 143 MW.
This portfolio is made up of 11 wind farms and 35 photovoltaic solar power plants that have a combined capacity of 96 MW and 47 MW respectively, which, as part of this deal, have an estimated value of around 300 million euros (100%).
The entry into the capital of the Banque des Territoires in the two portfolios will enable Total Quadran to, "pursue further development of renewable energy projects in France in partnership with a locally established payer committed to regional development".
