Total: refining margin falls in Q4
(CercleFinance.com) - According to the European Refining Margin Indicator (ERMI), Total's refining margin fell to 29.
1 dollars per tonne in the fourth quarter of 2018, from 39.9 dollars in the previous quarter, and 35.5 dollars a year earlier.
The ERMI indicator represents a complex theoretical North European refinery located in Rotterdam, which processes a raw cocktail representative of the region's average supply of large products listed in the same area.
In addition, Total said that over the past quarter, the average price of Brent reached 68.8 dollars per barrel ($/b), while the average price of liquid sales was $57.2/b and gas was $4.94/Mbtu.
