Total: teams up with Pavilion in LNG bunker
(CercleFinance.com) - Total and Pavilion Energy, through their respective subsidiaries, have announced signing of an agreement to jointly develop a supply chain for Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) bunker supply chain in the port of Singapore.
The agreement concerns a long-term joint chartering of a new generation refueling vessel, which will be commissioned by Pavilion Gas from 2020, and an LNG supply system that will enable Total to deliver LNG bunker to its customers.
Concluded during the 2018 World Gas Conference, the agreement follows the protocol signed in April 2017 on LNG as a marine fuel in Singapore. The collaboration between both companies contributes to the development of Singapore as an LNG bunkering hub.
