Total: sells remaining stake in Gina Krog.
(CercleFinance.com) - Total has announced that it has signed an agreement with Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Exploration Company (KUFPEC) for the sale of its remaining 15% stake in Gina Krog, an oil and gas field located in Norway, which was commissioned in June 2017.
This agreement follows the 2016 sale of assets located in Norwegian waters in the North Sea, including an initial 15% stake in Gina Krog. Both these transactions amount to over 600 million dollars.
After completion of the sale, Total will have no further stake in the Gina Krog field and KUFPEC will hold a 30% stake in Statoil (58.7%, operator), PGNiG Upstream International (8%) and Aker BP (3.3%).
