Carrefour: sets up advisory food committee
(CercleFinance.com) - Carrefour has announced the creation of an advisory food committee.
Laurent Vallée, appointed head of the food transition across the group in January, in addition to his role as Group General Secretary. Benoit Soury, who was appointed to the position of Organic Market Director three months ago, will report to him directly.
"This committee is made up of seven people from outside the Group, all from different backgrounds, but committed to addressing the food-related challenges we are facing," the company said.
"The committee is chaired by Laurent Vallée and will be tasked with supporting Carrefour as it transforms its model, participating in concrete projects linked to the food transition, sharing best practices, proposing new ideas and leading forward-looking discussions about changes in food consumption," management added.
