Air Liquide: to help cut ArcelorMittal's CO2 emissions
(CercleFinance.com) - Air Liquide and ArcelorMittal have announced signing a memorandum of understanding to accelerate the decarbonisation of steel production in the Dunkirk basin.
This agreement will lead to the development of solutions involving the use of low-carbon hydrogen and CO2 capture technologies.
The project will contribute to reducing annual CO2 emissions from ArcelorMittal's steel production facilities in Dunkirk by 2.85 million tonnes by 2030.
