JCDecaux: creation of a joint venture in Mexico.
(CercleFinance.com) - JCDecaux and América Móvil have announced the creation of a joint venture for their outdoor advertising activities in Mexico, through the merger of Corporación de Medios Integrales, a fully-owned subsidiary of América Móvil, and Eumex, a subsidiary of JCDecaux.
This merger will result in the creation of JCD Out Of Home Mexico (JCDecaux MX), a new entity controlled by JCDecaux, which, amongst other things, holds 100% of the shares of Fusionante Vendor. JCDecaux MX will be 60%-owned by the French group's entities.
This transaction, which is set to be completed in 2017, is subject to certain closing conditions, including the authorisation of the Mexican Federal Competition Commission.
