Safran: opens a plant in Hyderabad
(CercleFinance.com) - Safran has announced the opening of an electrical interconnection system plant in Hyderabad, in the Indian state of Telangana.
It will deliver the first LEAP engine harness made in India for the single-aisle market in the next twelve months.
The plant's production will also meet the potential needs of all the programs on which the French high-tech group operates in the region. This 4,000 m2 factory will eventually have 250 employees.
The plant will also benefit from the group's latest industrial technologies. Indeed, Safran confirms that the Factory of the Future - a reality at this site - will promote the digitisation and standardisation of operator workstations.
