Covivio: 79% of shareholders opt for stock dividend
(CercleFinance.com) - Covivio announces that at the end of the subscription period from 26 April to 10 May inclusive, holders of 79.
31% of the capital has opted for a dividend payment in shares.
The dividend payment and settlement of the new shares will take place on 1 June.
The 6,220,293 shares thus issued will carry dividend rights and will be the subject of an application for admission to trading on the regulated market of Euronext Paris and on the MTA (Mercato Telematico Azionario) in Milan.
The issue price of the new shares has been set at E44.87. This operation strengthens the balance sheet with a capital increase of E279m euros and once again illustrates shareholder confidence in Covivio's strategy, the real estate company said.
