TF1: in talks to acquire Doctissimo
(CercleFinance.com) - This Thursday TF1 and Lagardère announced that they have entered into exclusive negotiations for TF1's acquisition of 100% of Doctissimo, a vertical media pioneer in the online health/wellness segment in France, focusing mainly on health, nutrition and family issues.
It has belonged to Lagardère since 2008.
"DOCTISSIMO is a leading industry player, with a footprint on websites in France, Italy and Spain as well as apps and forums. In 2017, DOCTISSIMO was credited with an audience of 12 million unique visitors for nearly 40 million visits per month," the companies said.
Further discussions will take place, where appropriate, with details set to be released in due course. The conclusion of an agreement shall, in accordance with legislation, be submitted to examination by the relevant staff representative bodies.
