TF1: finalises acquisition of Newen Studios
(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday TF1 announced finalising its acquisition of the remainder (30%) of Newen Studios' capital.
This finalisation follows authorisation from the competition regulatory authority.
Bibiane Gheewala has been appointed chair of Newen Studios, replacing Fabrice Larue, who is leaving the group to pursue new projects elsewhere.
Gilles Pélisson, chairman and CEO of TF1, said, "Over the years, the successive buyouts of Telfrance, Capa, 17Juin, Blue Spirit Productions and Tuvalu Media, and the creation of Neweb, have enabled Newen to assemble a unique coalition of talents across the whole spectrum of production and the web."
