Atos: builds high performance test lab
(CercleFinance.com) - The Atos group today announced that it has launched the construction of its new global High Performance Computing Test Lab in Angers, immediately next to the current industrial site.
With a surface area of 2000m2, this lab will enable customers to test their supercomputer in real conditions, to ensure its meets stringent benchmarking criteria, Atos said.
The lab aims to support the development of some of the most powerful “exascale” machines in the world (capable of eventually computing over a billion operations per second) and quantum computing research - both for Atos teams and its clients.
