Crédit Agricole: negotiates partnership with Wirecard
(CercleFinance.com) - Crédit Agricole Payment Services and Wirecard have announced having signed a letter of intent to enter into exclusive negotiations to conclude a partnership to offer a range of services in the acceptance and acquisition of electronic money.
The aim of the discussions between the French Bank and the German payment solutions group will be to launch a cross-channel acceptance and pan-European acquisition offer for French traders and marketplaces in France and abroad.
The companies explained that by capitalising on the respective strengths of Crédit Agricole and Wirecard's Payment Services, this partnership will enable both companies to grow in a rapidly changing market.
