Nexans: contract of almost 100 million euros with Tennet.
(CercleFinance.com) - Nexans has signed a contract of nearly 100 million euros with the Network Manager TenneT.
The contract includes cables, accessories and their installation.
In addition to continuous current cables, Nexans will install a fiber optic data transfer cable.
Nexans will supply and install DolWin6 cables for the linking of high-voltage continuous current. Two 90 km long XLPE CC 320 kV cables will transport a maximum power capacity of 900 MW.
The laying of ground cables, manufactured in Belgium, over the 45 kilometres that separate Hilgenriedersiel from Emden, is set to begin in 2020.
