Nexans: boosts electric mobility in Champagne region.
(CercleFinance.com) - The urban community of Ardenne-Métropole has selected Nexans to supply equipment and ensure the maintenance of 149 public recharging stations for electric vehicles it was announced today.
This deployment follows elected representatives' decision to consider a service of electric vehicles in car sharing in the 61 municipalities of this region, with the objective being to increase the public transport offer that currently available for inhabitants.
After the first deployment phase, a fleet of vehicles operated by the platform of the start-up, Clem', which is specialised in shared eco-mobility, should be offered by car sharing to inhabitants, making the project completely innovative nationally in terms of its size and the variety of its uses.
