Eurofins Scientific: takes over EnvironeX in Canada
(CercleFinance.com) - Eurofins Scientific has announced the acquisition of EnvironeX Group, a Quebec-based supplier of tests for the environmental, agri-food and health sectors, from its founder Marc Hamilton and Persistence Capital Partners (PCP).
Operating three laboratories and a service unit, this company, which was founded in 2005, employs 275 people and is expected to generate sales of around 30 million CDN this year.
It will increase Eurofins' presence in environmental and food testing in Canada, where it employs over 200 people and operates four laboratories and three service centres.
