Eurofins: acquisition of Amatsigroup.
(CercleFinance.com) - Eurofins Scientific announces that it has signed an exclusive agreement with Ekkio Capital to acquire Amatsigroup for a price of approximately 130 million euros, plus some residual debt at closing.
Amatsigroup provides preclinical and clinical phase services for the development of human and veterinary drugs, with eight sites in France, two in Belgium and one in the US.
The company employs about 450 staff and plans to generate over 60 million euros in revenues in 2017 on a pro-forma basis, with an EBITDA margin already above Eurofins overall group target.
