Icade: acquires walls of 14 nursing homes
(CercleFinance.com) - Icade Santé announces that it has made its first investment in the nursing home sector, with the acquisition of 14 healthcare properties worth 189 million euros from the Résidalya network, a subsidiary of Ackermans & van Haaren.
As the tenth largest private nursing home operator in France, with 34 establishments and over 2,500 beds, Résidalya will remain the operator of the 14 facilities under 12-year leases with no break options. These establishments are either new or recent and have nearly 1,300 beds and places.
"Through this transaction, Icade Santé has reinforced its position as the leader in healthcare real estate, with a portfolio of close to E4.2 billion (1) and annualised rental income of over E234 million," the real estate company said.
