Air France-KLM: about to make takeover bid on Aigle Azur?
(CercleFinance.com) - According to Le Monde, Air France-KLM could be about to file a takeover bid on the largest private French airline, Aigle Azur, which has just been put into receivership.
With 1,150 employees, last year Aigle Azur carried 1.9 million passengers, although made a loss of over 40 million euros. It also has about 10,000 takeoff and landing slots, at Paris-Orly airport.
Takeover bids for Aigle Azur are expected to be made shortly.
