Air France-KLM: Q3 2018 earnings up 23%
(CercleFinance.com) - Air France-KLM has published Q3 2018 net income, group share that is up 23% at 786 million euros, although its operating margin slipped 1.
6 point to 14.1% (-0.7 point on a comparable basis).
At 7.545 billion euros, the air carrier's revenues increased by 4% as reported and were up 5.8% in comparable terms. It transported 28.5 million passengers, up 2.3% from the same period last year.
The group maintains its 2018 forecast of a 0% to +1.0% increase in unit costs at constant exchange rates, fuel prices and retirement expenses, a reduction in its net debt compared to 31 December 2017, and a negative exchange rate impact of 150 million euros.
