Air France-KLM: passenger traffic up 3.3% in August
(CercleFinance.com) - Air France-KLM has announced passenger traffic that is up 3.
3% in August, based on capacity that is up 2.4%, which has led to a 0.7-point improvement in its load factor to 90.8%.
The airline announced having transported about 7.8 million passengers (+4.1%) under its Air France, KLM and HOP! banners (+2.2%). Including its low cost banner Transavia, 9.6 million passengers travelled with the group (+2.3%).
Meanwhile, cargo traffic at the Franco-Dutch increased by 4.8%, based on a capacity that was up 3.4%, which meant a 0.8-point rise in the company's load factor to 56.8%.
