Air France-KLM: -3.4% in passenger network activity in April
(CercleFinance.com) - Air France-KLM announced a fall in passenger network activity of 3.
4% for the month of April, based on a 3.8% drop in capacity, which has culminated in an improvement in load factor of 0.4 points to 87.9%.
The airline indicates that it has transported approximately 6.9 million passengers under the banners of Air France, KLM and HOP!, with a fall of 8.7% at Air France due to the eight days of strikes, but a growth of 5.2% at KLM.
On the side of the 'low-cost' business of the French-Dutch group Transavia, traffic has increased by 4.3%, with 1.3 million passengers transported (+1.3%), whilst cargo business has fallen by 6%.
