Air France-KLM: passenger traffic up 5% in February

(CercleFinance.com) - Air France-KLM has announced passenger traffic that is up 5% in February, based on capacity that is up 3.
3%, which has led to a 1.4-point improvement in its load factor to 86.4%.

The airline announced having transported about 5.9 million passengers (+4.1%) under its Air France, KLM and HOP! banners. Adjusted for disturbances related to snow and strike action, unit revenue excluding FX factors increased slightly.

Meanwhile, the Franco-Dutch group's "low cost" airline, Transavia, saw its traffic increase by 13.3%, with 0.8 million passengers (+6.4%), while cargo traffic rose 0.7%.
