Kone: winning streak continues in China
(CercleFinance.com) - Finnish lift maker Kone announced on Friday a contract to provide escalators and elevators for the Zhengzhou metro line in China.
This is the latest in a series of Chinese deals for the company, which also said it will equip one of the world's largest hospital facilities there.
With the latest deal, Kone will equip the Xi'an International Medical Building, a five-story medical technology building with 5,037 beds and 60 sterile operating rooms.
In all, the company will supply 148 elevators and 56 escalators for this development.
