Nokia: signs agreement with United Group
(CercleFinance.com) - Nokia has signed an agreement with United Group (UG), the leading multimedia provider in South East Europe.
The agreement will see the deployment of a fiber network and Wi-Fi in the home solution in eight countries. The fiber network will enable UG to extend new 10 Gbps ultra high-speed services to millions of residential and business customers in the region.
Based on Nokia's Lightspan FX series, the deployment will enable UG to provide new and enhanced broadband services to residential and business customers, offer mobile transport services, and create new business opportunities.
Nokia will also provide UG with its industry-leading portfolio of mesh-enabled ONTs and Wi-Fi beacons to help ensure customers have unparalleled broadband experience in the home.
