Nokia: Deutsche Telekom's partner for 5G
(CercleFinance.com) - Nokia and Deutsche Telekom Group today announced that they are expanding their strategic cooperation to build a 5G-compatible network.
Deutsche Telekom has chosen the Nokia 7750 Service Router (SR) platform to significantly expand its network capacity and prepare for next-generation broadband and 5G services.
Deployment has already begun in Greece, where Nokia is replacing and modernising the operator's existing network, while deployment in Hungary is planned by the end of the year.
